Agreed on early 68--among other things, it captures a unique moment in the band's evolution, and there's real show-to-show cohesion. I respect the 72 and 74 tours you cite, but neither gives me the warm fuzzies like:

October/November 1973 (which I know you too love, so I wonder why you left it out)

June 1976 (which has a freshness and tenderness that always gets me)

And of course I'm always happy to listen to most anything from May/June 1970 or May/June 1977.
